Manchester United and Molde F.K. are pleased to announce that they have agreed terms for the transfer of Mame Biram Diouf.


Mame Biram Diouf is to attend a medical in Manchester next week with a view to joining the club in January. Until that time he will remain with Molde F.K. on loan.

The champions of England are monitoring Two Young Prodigy~ One French & One Italian.

BORDEAUX president Jean-Louis Triaud believes there is a "great possibility" United will sign Gabriel Obertan.

The young winger is regarded as one of France's brightest prospects and Chelsea have been monitoring him since 2007.

United, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Arsenal have all been linked with Obertan too and Triaud believes the Barclays Premier League champions will win the battle for the 20-year-old's signature.

"It's actually a great possibility," he told L'Equipe. "United want him and we would be delighted to see Gabriel develop in such a club.

"We will make it official when the moment comes."

Obertan, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Lorient, is a regular in the France Under-21 side and scored against England U21 in March.

He was awarded the Most Valuable Player award at last month's Toulon International Youth Tournament.

Manchester United are set to sign another promising young Italian, with Empoli's Alberto Massaci set to move to Old Trafford.

The 16-year-old right-back confirmed that a deal was virtually agreed, telling the Gazzetta dello Sport, "When they called me, I really couldn't believe it.

"I didn't believe that it was really him [Sir Alex Ferguson] on the phone. But it was him, and I had an hour-long chat with him, in English.

"He seemed to me a modest, simple, incredible person."

Massaci then revealed that leaving his home was a hard decision, continuing, "Nobody, not him, nor the whole atmosphere, made the pressure of who they are and what they represent in footballing history weigh on my shoulders.

"In life a chance like this only comes past you once, and you've got to grab it with both hands - even if at 16 years old it isn't an easy decision, you have to leave your home, family and friends.

"But I don't want to have regrets."

United have always had an eye out for promising young Italian players, with Giuseppe Rossi and Federico Macheda having joined the club in recent years.

2. Not a stable coach. They don't give a coach to stabilize the team. They require instant success from them , when not obtained kick them out. Then how the HELL would you ever boast a good TEAM . It puzzles me you Real Hierarchy.

3. Money can't buy everything :-). I hope you would have known this when you had all the best players in your team , yet you won NOTHING :).

Don't you consider it is a shame for publicly going behind a player even though he has a contract live and kicking with a great Club like Manchester United ? Last year , Calderon was embarrassed, now you Perez ~ it's your turn.

An elderly person like Perez , should have some dignity ~ he is not voicing his opinion ~ but a club like Real Madrid's . So how cheap a club like Real Madrid behaving . Grow up guys , learn the meaning of attitude from your fellow team like Barca . Be professionals . Don't behave like scum.

Have one thing in your mind, Manchester United will only sell players if they wish to sell , not for BIG money.

Red Devils ~ Sign a French Starlet

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has snapped up French midfield starlet Paul Pogba - under the nose of Arsenal chief Arsene Wenger.

Ferguson has tied up a deal to land the 16-year-old youth international who plays for crack nursery club Le Havre and the kid has opted for United ahead of the Gunners.



It is a major signing triumph for Ferguson who has been unable to dominate the French market in the past few years because of Wenger's name and contacts.


However United have been working on the deal for months and the defensive midfielder, a regular in the national under-16 side, will join their list of talented kids.

Ferguson is working overtime on recruiting the next generation while also chasing the double at first team level, with Pogba's signature now imminent.

Pogba can leave Le Havre in the summer - with the fee to be based on appearances and compensation on his 'education' at the Ligue 1 outfit.
